Glad to see this. Great lakes (including Green Bay) remain at 5.
Wish they would change panfish/crappie regs. Current is 25 total. Would like to see that drop down to 10 or 15.
I keep fish based on the population at hand. Healthy fisheries (or stocked) I'll keep a limit. So-so fish populations, I'll toss them back most of the time.

I agree that some bag limits should be less. We have so many less fish to catch these days anyways. Strange that we talk about bag limits but shy away from aquatic weed control which can mess up 30 years of goodness in one bad application. Our jail cells should be full of those that make these bad decisions. John

As of April 1st Lake Mendota is going to a 10 fish panfish limit.

MN is 10 crappie and 20 sunfish. That is a reduction put in place last year. My lake is 5 crappie.
