That's Eric Haatjia with Babe about 10 years ago. The first part is Lake Waubesa and the second is Delavan lake.

Re: Wrap-up "Buck Sez" Spoonpluggers @Madison Chain 2023
Thank you to all who participated in 2023 Spoonpluggers at Madison. Here are pictures guys sent of some of the fish caught during that time. The full write-up appears in the NSOA Newsletter (Sept-Oct) just issued, which is the reason I waited to post these.
As stated, this year's get-together was dedicated to the late Terry O'Malley, who originated the event last year. Terry would have been thrilled to see the participation, including three of his top students there (Jerry Borst, Bill Lorch, and Chris Angsten), and the catches that were made.
It was great seeing the effort and readiness to fish hard to make a catch. Most everybody caught quality fish including pike, LM/SM bass, and some walleye. Chris Angsten (several big pike) got up there when he could the week before. The biggest pike Sept 13-16 was caught by Paul Stanick casting a blade at a main contact point on the way back to the ramp. Jerry's largest walleye measured 28", and I heard of a 25" (800 SP), too. Mike Etzel and Frank Drahos boated SM to 20" and 20 1/2" on 800's. Scott Duff got into a group of LM 19"+ casting a spot found while trolling, and Bill Lorch caught numerous LM/SM some to 20" (SP's) on specific spots he had mapped previously. Of course, everybody caught northern pike-Tom Jennings and others had some good ones. Friends were made over breakfast and many guys fished until dark. A pizza/salad/dessert Dinner (Scott Duff) was offered on Thursday, with Fishing Reports (Bill Beck, Class Russell) afterward. Some came for just a day, while for most who were staying it was late dinners at the Pub etc or relaxing at a campfire to close out the days. Good luck to all in your fishing this Fall!
Thank you Buck Perry (and Terry O'Malley) !!!
